Vertigo Bikes gets feature in Dirt Magazine!

This was an exciting suprise for us at Vertigo Bikes. We got the new dirt through the post box and we opened it up to find a double page spread all about us and what we do, how good is that! New Zealand and Queenstown has been getting a lot of publicity recently about it riding and being a great southern hemisphere destination which is great to see. The opening of the Skyline Gondola to mountain bikers this year has definitely sparked a boom in mountain biking in Queenstown, and now the wheels are in motion it is going to be interesting to see where it goes from here, but we at Vertigo intend to be at the forefront of it all, being the only mountain bike specific shop in Queenstown, coupled with all our guiding and coaching experience. Zerode Bike at Vertigo Bikes

Vertigo Bikes will have one of the much anticipated NZ designed ZERODE DH Bikes in the shop until the end of the season. Cookie Time have bought the bike and have branded it up as the "ONE SQUARE MEAL" Zerode. The bike is owned by one of the owners of Cookie Time but he is going to be leaving it in charge with us at Vertigo Bikes and locals who are members of the Queenstown Mountain Bike Club will be able to rent the bike to take up the gondola for $25 (and buying a One Square Meal bar) and try the bike out on the Skyline Gondola DH Trails.
The frame has just arrived and the bike is being built and should be ready for use by the 8th May. Come and check out the first Zerode in Queenstown!
